Gsk install

Ight I want to put some 3000 springs in my truck. I'm pretty handy and work on all my friends trucks but I'm wondering how hard the gsk kit is to put in saw it on tv and there was alot of stuff that came out of the hole but how hard is it. Thanks.

not too bad. take your time and take springs out one at a time and make sure you get the small shims. make sure the measurement on each stud is the same. the side plug really kicked my butt. it took me forever to get it to thread as they are real fine threads. others have had no problem with that, but i had a hell of a time.

it only took me about 45 minutes to do the GSK for the first time... Getting the side plug back on is another story but you can go through the AFC to get around the side plug. But just take your time and get a pencil magnet to help remove everything and a little pick to help get the shims and factory seats

they pretty much summed it up, i would not go through the afc housing port. but getting that plug in can make you want to rip your hair out, but be patient and take your time, it will go in. Should take 45 minutes to an hour, just make sure you follow directions, and make sure you get all of the factory shims out, they will really cause a nightmare if you dont. Good luck
