i was also wondering if i could replace the metal fuel lines with rubber from the tank all the way from the engine

I did, when i got my aid dog 150 it came with 1/2" rubber fuel line from tank to motor. Just make sure that it is actual fuel line.

ok i also heard that i cant use regular fuel line it has to be rated for diesel

Napa was the only local place that had diesel rated line for me that was reasonably priced.

Your right, do use diesel rated fuel hose, you will regret it if you dont.

I had regular fuel line on one of my stump grinders, it lasted about 2 months. I've got some gas line on my return I need to change, At least its not a supply
