WHAT DO U DO WITH OLD WIRING FROM AUTO? JUST TIE IT UP?

dieseldocter16 12-20-2009 12:52 PM

Thats what I did for now. Come Spring I need to crawl under there with a Power Probe and find which wire is for the reverse lights and hook them up.

96blackcloud 12-20-2009 04:28 PM

you get the wire off a manual and cut the plug one the one end off and splice it into the stock harness, there is three wires splice the outers ground the middle ur done

im in the process of gathering all the parts for a 47re to nv4500 swap myself..... the input shaft on my transfer case, mated to the 47re is going to be a 23 spline, correct? so the trans im buying has an option for 29 or 23 spline. should i stay with the 23 spline or is it weak, or upgrade my t case to accept the 29 spline?
thanks in advance for the help.

96blackcloud 01-26-2010 05:37 PM

upgade your t case to accept the 29 spline its stronger it requires spliting the case but then it just drops in. and depending on the application in my case i needed a HD nv4500 4x4 the sn will say DF on the side of the pto housing that trany only comes with the 29 spline. im not sure about the standard duty 4500 or 2wheel drive models
