headlight problems
 
my headlights are not being cool the are good on low beams but highs are not what the used to be they are duller and arent as high as the should, i did change the bulbs.
anyone know how to help me :dang:

Are the lenses clear, or did they start getting yellow?? Might want to check and have them re-aimed.

no the lenses were replaced with stock replacements but ya ill try to get them aimed thanks man

Thats not really the answer.

Basically, with the way its wired you are not getting a full 12V to the bulbs. At minimum, you need a heavy duty harness with relays - this will provide a full 12 volts to the bulbs.

Other options are converting to sport headlights with have a 9004 and 9007 bulb in each light. Doing this will require a relay and more wiring to each bulb.

Another option is the HID conversion. But, this requires new projector housing from what I understand.

Yes, cant remember right now. But you can wire up your own.


FWIW, I have the LMC harness and its not that bad.

High beams burn up the switch. I've gone through 2 ill never use the high beams again.
