i dont know about that but your prolly right. i just know everyone around here puts the yellow tops on. seems to be working great for all here so when i change mine to optima im using yellow tops

i am curious since no acid in them can you buy them on the net and have them shipped just curious to see if you could get them cheaper than your local outhouse

i have to gold batts from advance 1000 ca 800 cca great only 96 each and both have 3 yr free replacement on them!
