swaping injectors and fuel plate hp diff?

im wanting to get a set of 215 injectors and then put a 5 fuel plate in and swap my pennsacola stage two injectors and 12 plate out. I know theere is a lil power lost switching to the 215s but with the 5 plate make up for it and still make a good amount of power?

i dont think the pensacola stik have anything over 215s they are a dagon 4x.012 thats smaller than a 215 is

You sure about that?

if pensicola dodge injectors are anything like there 7.3 powerstroke injectors i would say the 215s are gonna be better. I bought a set of "new pensicola ford powerstroke injectors from them that were junk from the getgo. never did get my money back or a good set of injectors from them. But mabey they know how to do the dodge injectors?

yes as far as i know they are a 4 hole i had someone ask about them and they confirmed 4 holes .012ths

bowtech 10-30-2009 10:42 PM

would the spray pattern change any thing? bc they are the 4x0.012 155* marine 330?

12valvetater 10-31-2009 01:04 AM

well being less holes with larger diameters it cant break the fuel up as well and being the wrong spray it would be smokey and shitty mileage imo

I bought a set of pennsacola 90 injectors. I had one bad. The return line bolt would only go so far in. So I called them up no questions ask thay had me one the next day. I have had good luck out of there stuff. I will deal with them again. Real nice people to deal with. Thay buy them buy the truck loads so thats why thay are so cheap to. 90 horse for $199.00.

My opinion is different, a 4x0.012" won't make 90hp, a 5x0.012" won't make 90hp in most applications.

a true 90 horse injector is thier anything that has a true rating the last set of injs i bought were 140hp injs and they only made 115hp so it all what u want:U:

I meant that you know that a 5x0.010" will produce more hp than a 4x0.012"?

12valvetater 11-01-2009 02:07 PM

yeah thats why i think its a dumb idea to get an injector that smokes more and makes less power than stock

bowtech 11-01-2009 04:28 PM

i have a 94 witch is the 181 not 215 so the pens injectors made a good gain in hp. and smoke a lil more

You think, but you don't know. A 4x0.012" nozzle makes more power than a 5x0.010", and if the timing is taken into account smoke is not an issue.

has any body ran the bosch 330 injectors in a 12v?
