Injectors and tranny?

I have a complete stock '98 12 Valve, other than a 4" turbo back MBRP exhaust. Im about to be putting gauges in, and taking the fuel plate down a bit. What kind of injectors could i possibly run? The truck is an auto and i dont have the money quite yet to buy a stronger one yet. Would the stock tranny be able to hold the power? I was also wondering what kind of automatic transmission everyone suggests? If i do get new injectors would it be a good idea to get a new fuel system (air dog/FASS) as well?

all depends on how big injectors your wanting. Whats your hp goals? if your just wanting like 400 or a lil more a vb and tc would proble work but if you have the money get a full built tranny a suncoast is like all most 3000 then need a tc depending witch you want a triple disk is like 1200 you dont need the fuel system proble till after 500 hp

I would get a tranny or put in a vb or tc before getting any injectors, ive done it the other way around and it doesnt work out too good. Tranny doesnt like much more hp than stock maybe an extra 60hp or so. I would recommend Suncoast because we have had a good relationship with them and they have great customer service and prices. The tranny is about the biggest expense your gonna make but once its done right you wont have to worry about it anymore!
