valve body problems i need help!!!!
 

i kept hearin a whining coming out of my valve body so i took the pan off and it was coming from the round switch that goes straight up into the bottom.when i unplugged it the whinning stopped.i took my testers and the black one was ground and the purple one was 12v.then i did a continuity test on the prongs on the switch and it showed continuity between the two.if one side is hot and one side is ground then i would say that might be the reason my convertor won't lock up.the wires go directly to the lock up solenoid.i really need my truck.

that should be the lock up switch and if you remove the plate above it the govenor is up there if ya can afford it replace both, also check your relay under the hood and the throttle actuator and check that none of the pins are either pushed up or broken off, good luck those two parts run about 200 bucks, ive got some new ones at home but i wont be home till saturday,

i found it on the web its the governor pressure solenoid should it show continuity?
