What size turbo?

Well my truck is a 98 12 valve as my sig says. I was wondering how you can tell what size turbo you have? I know its a 35 but, i was talking to someone and they said something about the exhaust housing being bigger on manual trucks. My truck is an auto. Any help on locating this info would be nice, thanks.

you have an HX35 12cm echaust 54mm compressor

which is better the 14 or 16? I like the way this one spools. If i put a bigger housing on it would it benefit the twin setup i want to run later?

bigger exhaust housing = lower egt and slower spool what size 400 are you going ro run i have the same setup in the works im going to use my stock charger with a 14m non wastegated exhaust housing with a 60mm ompresor wheel over an S400 72mm compressor and a 1.22 A/R exhuast housing

i was just gonna get the one off of city diesel thats like 650 bucks I think its a 72mm compressor wheel. I know it has the 1.22 a/r exhaust housing

I know it has the 1.22 a/r exhaust housing
1.22 A/R ratio as a single will be a lag pig and not light until way up in the rpm band.

There are some smaller S400 framed chargers that will have tighter exhaust housings which you can spool,IF,you have the fuel to light them.

You need to decide what your planning to do with the truck to make a decisive choice for a charger and not have to buy one twice.
