You can also put fresh fuel in the fuel filter bowl Put back on,push the button to prime the system a few times and fire it up.That's how i do it on the over the road trucks.

Another way of doing it is to use compressed air and a rag at your fuel tank inlet to pressurixe the tank. Ive never tried this myself but its supposed to work good and pushes the fuel through the lines all the way to the filter housing. Again, make sure the banjo bolt on top of the filter housing is one so the air has someplace to exit the system. Also, the pressure should be 5-10 psi - and no more.

i never wash mine seems pointless, last time i washed it i had it in mud up to the bumper the next day. so i spent $25 at a car wash to get it nice and pretty for 14 hours. not worth it to me, it will wash itself when it rains

Why not just drain out the water with the "water drain" and be happy. Thats a helluva lot of work to drain some water. Especially when there is a "water drain".............

Just pull up on the drain for a few seconds, then be happy. I am getting water in my system everytime it rains for what ever reason. And I just drain the water and all is well.

But what do I know, not like I drive class 8 tractor trailers or have owned diesel for the last...... 4 years?

well sir; you must make pretty good steering wheel holder draining the water is a simple quick fix... extended periods of doing this "fix" isnt ideal... since your gettin water in your tank like crazy i can understand... no one wants to put a 20 dollar filter in weekly... rather than every other oil change i'd prolly just do it every oil change or so until you figure out where all that water is getting in at... if water is getting in so is abunch of other crap...
