how to take off towing mirrors??
im getting new towing mirrors in the mail tommorrow :rocking: and i need some help on taking the old ones off... they're cipa 10"x10" extendable power (no heat) mirrors...
thanks guys bob |
Just unscrew the 3 screws holding the door molding on and just pop the top clips off to give you enough room to work and unbolt the the mirror. As for disconnecting the power, they should just be plugged into the factory wiring harness.

ok easy enough.. how do i get the top clips off?? just pull?? hahah
|
Thats how I did it... Just go slow and take an easy so you don't break any of the clips. I learned that the hard way on the driver door :argh:

wana sell them bad boys?
|
i posted to sell them in the classified... BUT the drive side mirror glass is F**** and the where your spose to mount the mirror motor to the shell is busted off (hence why i got new mirrors) but the rest of the driver is ok.. and the passenger is in good shape... every thing works on the pasenger (the power that is) they're just power, no heat... they're the cipa 10"x10" round style extendable towing mirrors... im sure you could go to a junk yard and find the studs to mount the motor for like 10-20 bucks... pm me for a price:U:
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- oh and plus shipping to hawaii hahah |
i bought a new set off ebay and they came with new clips wich was great cause i broke the hell out of them that was in the door:w2:
