Need to remove washer fluid bottle...

I need to take the washer bottle out to get the radiator shroud out so I can remove my radiator.. Any trick to doing this? Is there any bolts? I cant see any bolts, and it looks like it should slide up and come right off. But its not moving up more than 1/2 in then it stops. I dont want to break it but it needs to come out since its blocking bolts to my shroud. My vision isnt too great today my contacts are messed up, but help me out please :humm: is there something im missing? Its a 98 2500 12v

should come up that half inch and then pull lose if i remember right. It just sits in those notches.

I know I had to use a screwdriver slipped down behind it to pry it out of the slots on my truck.

there is a catch on the backside of the bottle that catches on a hole in the shroud. stick a long screwdriver between the 2 to push the catch away from the shroud and then pull up.

I had a hard time taking my water fluid and radiator fluid bottles out the first time. All they do is slide out. Push in on the bottle and pull up. While you are pushing up shake and twist the bottle. It will come out. After you get then out the first time they will go in and come out easy.

Like said above there is a retainer spot that you have to pull the bottle over. When I took one off last I used the screwdriver method like mentioned above.

there are also to little buttons on the bottle that fit it holes on the shroud you have to pull up and push out to unhook them sometimes. once in awhile they get hung up and it can be a little bit of a pain to get the bottle out
