Hello gentleman...first reply...the syncro's are made of kevlar and work well and long only if you use approved fluid...no subs.

i used redline mt-90 in my nv4500.
shifts smoother and no problems...

I've got ams on order for my next time around whether it be another trans or fixin this one.

 

well i will order some of the castrol stuff and put it in the tranny in a few days. as far as filling it i used a oil pump and pumped it in. what i will do instead of throwing the valvoline full synthetic away i will put it in the rear diff of my truck

 

smart thinkin about the valvoline stuff. No need to waist it.

 

no not if there is only 1000 miles on it beats having to buy it again for $50
