im having turbo problems
 

This morning when I left out for school I noticed that I had no boost pressure. Mind you this is going up probably a 2% grade at around 1800rpm. Normally I would have around 2 or 3 psi. So I gave it some throttle (around 2200 rpm) and after a second or two all of a sudden the turbo lit and I had around 13-14 psi. It didn't have any problems for the rest of the drive.

When I got home and pulled the intake boot off, the inside of the housing had a layer of black dust on it. There is no in/out play in the shaft and just a little side to side but the compressor wheel doesn't touch the housing. I don't see any oil leaks and the only smoke I see is the typical black puff.

Anyone have any ideas?
