How does the fuel plate work
When I step on the accelerator, does the guide ride on the edge of the fuel plate based on rpm of engine or how much I'm pressing the peddle? Meaning, IF I floor it, is the guide riding on the top of the fuel plate or is the guide "gradually" moving up the plate as the rpm increases. Really trying to figure out if I want a 10 or 100 for my truck, looks like I could grind the top side of the 10 so that I can have a 100 if the plate works by peddle travel, if the plate works by rpm, Im completely lost. Do have a manual transmission, nv4500, and a clutch rated for 2003 hp.
if goes up based on rpms as i understand it... i went with the 100 plate, imo its the best plate, gets good mileage if you keep yer foot of it, but at the same time if you want some get up n go, it'll give you that too
