Torque Convertor Lock Up
 
i just wanted to tell you guys that i finally last night put my tc lock up switch in,and let me tell you ,i could not believe the difference!that is a different truck,0-80 is real quick.thanks for the help i thin so far this is my favorite mod.:c:

I know what thats like.I couldn't believe it either when i tried it for the first time.I was grinning ear to ear.I can't wait until my stock tranny gives up the ghost and i get a better tranny put in. From what i'm told,the truck will drive totally different.:U:

Do you have a manual valve body? Mine doesnt like to shift with the converter locked, i just lock it once i hit 30, then she hammers down, i can let it go to about 20 and it will black out the street till 40-50mph. I like it but want a better valve body, so it will cherp gears like a standard.:U:

no i don't have a manual valve body,i don't hit the switch until it goes into 2nd.the valve body won't let it lock up in 1st.

i want one lol how much? where to get one? and how hard to install? can you put one on a stock tranni or need a valvebody?
It hurt the tranni or help it last?
