ya but stkdram said that those grid heaters help with cold starts... so if you dont have one stock then does your truck be a pain in the cold mornings?

so what do you think about blocking off an EGR valve..? ever heard of it?

my truck does have one but its a separat piec and about 20* she would just crank and crank and puff white smoke. herd of it yes, tried it no, just dont get cought since your in CA

i dont know what the rulls are down there, im only going by what the word is i hear. i herd you guys have to get checked every year. and if thats missing maybe in for a unlucky treat

well not yet. as of now no diesels in CA get smogged but a law just got passed and as of Jan 2010 all diesels 1998 and above get smogged. so i still wont have to. but like i know people who are actually selling there souped up diesels to family out of CA and then are just gonna be "borrowing" the trucks forever that way they can do whatever they wan2 to the truck. ya also we now have "smoke tickets." if a cope sees you blowing excessive smoke your 1st offense is $800 then 2nd offense is $1600... then $2400 and up in that incrament... its so dumb, bottom line... CA sucks
