Diesel Performance Parts Power Chips Diesel Exhaust Intake Performance Products makes a good kdp kit, there all bout the same you could make your own for less tho. a straight pipe usually means takeing the muffler out and replaceing it with a straight pipe. the down pipe is the pipe that is connceted to the rear of the trubo. the 35/40 hybrid is a hx35 with the hx40 compressor wheel, you can buy them or make your hx35 into one but you may have to machine it some.

As for my truck the 06 has a intake and a exhaust, and I'm gonna post all the pic's of my 94 build up when its done.

would it be hard to make one myself and what would i need?? for the kdp.... so i would just cut out the muffler witha sawzall n buy a thin metal pipe and weld it or clamp it in right?? sounds easy enough to do in your opinion a hx40 is better then the 35/40? if i do the hybrid i would prob just buy one... dont have the time or stuff to machine it (i work 7 days a week soo... haha but i work a john deere dealer (proven power) so it aint that bad. oh am i looking at the right thing here?? 94-98 12 Valve Cummins Dowel Pin Tab 1400182

I also think the exhaust wheels is different and with that 16cm housing spool up is a lot slower, I used to run one on my wh1c and that thing was a turd

you can cut the muffler out or remove it and yes the straight pipe just clamps right into place. IMO yes I do think the hx40 is better than the 35/40 but thats my opinion. I would keep your stock injectors till you get the kdp tabbed, some tranny mods, and your trubo figured out
