South Bend Clutch
Ok so i bought a south bend clutch slave/master cyl. assembly to replace my broken stocker. i but the sbc unit in and as soon as i depressed my clutch pedal the mounting tabs on the master cylinder portion all broke.:booo::booo: so now i still have no truck for going on the third week. im quite angry seeing as how i still have no truck and this set up wasn't cheap. thats all.:argh::argh::argh::argh:

ya its funny you say you wish you had an auto... cuz i have one and i keep saying i wish i had a stick considering it is costing me $4000 in two days to have my tranny built up

i wint thru the same they sent me the wrong parts then no spacer ring for the starter and tree times pulling my trany lucky its a 4*2 but all said and done its been good clutch to put up with my heavy right foot

i wouldnt trade my manual for an atuo that would be the worst mistake ever

Southbend will stand behind there product. Out of any and all vendors who sell anything related to these trucks, they stand behind their product more than any I've dealt with. Get the right parts, install it right and you won't have regrets

how tight did you torque the bolts that hold the slave cyl on. the tabs are just plastic if you over torqued the bolts it would cause this. the torque is only like 17ft lbs
