topper or bed cover for more MPG's?
 

i am thinking of buying a topper(that is level with roof of cab)or a bed cover.
which do you think would get better feul milage? '
used topper seem to be cheaper and easier to find than a cover
will a ford topper from a 99' fit my 2500?

I had a topped on my 95, didn't seem to really make a difference in mileage. Of course, that was with a Cummins, which gets better mileage already, so IDK if it'll effect a P-Stroke better or not.

watch myth busters!it doesn't make enough if any difference in milage.so g othe cheapest route,or whatever your preference is.and start watchin more tv lol!!!!!

i think ill go with the topper since i like my tools dry and i live in the sunshine state

ya buying one of those tops will be such a small increase in MPGs that its not worth buying, it'll never pay for itself
