TRUCK PULLING HOW TO'S??
I'VE NEVER PULLED IN A TRUCK PULL BUT I'VE GOT ONE COMING UP.I NEED SOME POINTERS.I THINK I GOT 4.10 GEARS.DO I LET IT SIFT,MANUAL SHIFT,4H OR 4L,THANKS GUYS.

When I pulled the 2000 I let it shift and be sure to lock out od. 4 lo for sure. If it starts to bounce let it out easy and when it stops ease back into it again. Bounce = break

HAVE YOU EVER HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH YOURS JUMPIN OUT OF 4L?MINE DOES SOMETIME SO I GUESS I NEED TO GET THAT FIXED BEFORE I GO.

Nope, never jumped out... That could be bad at full throttle :pca1:

PROBABLY SCATTER SOME SHIT HUH?MY SHIFTER WAS RATTLING SO I PULLED THE BOOT AND THERE IS A LITTLE PLASTIC PIECE IN THERE AT THE TOP.IT WASNT SNAPPED IN THERE NO MORE RATTLE,MAYBE IT WASN'T LETTING THE SHIFTER GO ALL THE WAY BACK.I AINT TRIED IT SINCE.

take ur caps lock off buddy, every time ive pulled in my truck, ive pulled in 4L and drive, ive never had enough wheel speed to hit any more than third. good luck man

before when i would put it in 4L it would jump out at idle.since i snapped the plastic piece i tried it yesturday,floored it and it stayed in fine.i think im alright.

If it doesn't pop out when you let off the throttle it should be alright.
