it doesnt dump it thats the idea, no it wont hurt it if you keep an eye on your guage and keep it below 40 psi you should be ok, not saying you will but for a good while if your careful with it

so does that mean that if i hit say 35 psi at 2,000 rpm then if i let off the pedal and it goes to idle the pressure will stay at 35 psi or until it slowly bleeds off?sorry i'm new.and could somebody give me a guess on horsepower/torque for my set up?100hp injectors, cold air intake,#0 plate, silencer ring removed, and boost comtroller.

no it wont stay at 35 once you let off the pedal it'll go down like normal, the only thing this is gonna do is not limit the boost it will keep climbing till it either blows or you let off, right now on my truck i can hit 30 but no matter how long i keep into it the throttle the boost will not go above 30 because the gate lets all the pressure off when it hits 30 and wont let it build anymore, if its plugged it wont release the pressure it will just keep boosting

so a boost controller is probably my best bet?i have one and i've been goin up slowly with it.my problemb is it'll get up to 27 but only in high gear.but as soon as it hits it it drops back to about 18.do you think i should plug the hose or just try running the contrtoller almost all the way?

i bought an aftermarket boost controller.it goes between the turbo and the waste gate actuator.i guess the further you turn it in the less signal you get to your wastegate.does this sound like a good thing or just toss it and plug the line.
