thats why i was confused, i wonder if he is talkin about one of those BD elbows...or like a J hook:humm:
just a boost elbow that stops the wastegate were a boost fooler is electronically controlled to let you get more boost
yeah i know that, wonder what it is that he is callin this boost controller??
most likeley the elbow
what i'm callin a boost controller is basically an adjustable ball valve that you put in the waste gate signal hose to lower or raise the signal to the waste gate actuator.i dont know if it's pressure or vacuum that actuates it but the controller raises or lowers it.

i have a common rail cummins and it gave me a loss in power :argh: but i dont know how it would effect a non computerize injected engine:humm:

Generally it's called a boost Elbow FYI. It is pressure that controls the wastegate not vacuum. Diesels don't have a throttle plate so they don't make vacuum. |
do they not have a vacuum pump?not sure what it's for.
yes they have a vacuum pump but it is for running things like A/C controls and 4wd engagement. It doesn't have much to do with the engine itself.
cool i wasn't really sure.so when i disconnect the waste gate the only thing i gotta plug is the turbo side not the waste gate?
