will it hurt the pump or the motor to drive the truck without the fuel plate

 

it is a debatable topic. it wont hurt it from what some people say, honestly i dont think it will hurt anything but the way i see it is if bosch or cummins wanted it without a fuel plate they would have designed it that way, just spend the moeny on a good one or grind your down

 

No it wont hurt anything ..............but you better be able to control yer right foot ar the potential of alot of things getting hurt is very high

The fuel plate provides a profile for the fueling paramiters, without the plate its full fuel all the time, these lil ol 350 cid Cummins can rip the hell out of drivetrain if not goverened

 

and thats why they were designed with plates

 

do a 100 plate........................its designed to get the truck goin then let ya have full fuel after that

i wished i wouldnt have ground my stock plate to a 0 i wish i would have did the 100

 

when some one removes the plate do you have to adjust the throttle arm?

 

no becasue there is nothing for the throttle arm to touch with the plate gone

 

i have always had a feeling it would be better to move it as far back as possible. it would just make me feel like it was out of the way.

 

it shouldnt hit on anything it doesnt drop that far to contact the covernor spring assembly.
