How do i change camber in my 97 4x4 2500? i am destroying the out sides of the tires? looks to me like i have to much positive camber? is this something i can adjust? or do i have to do it by buying special degree ball joints? its cold and wet up here in nh, so i havent looked @it to c what i need to do:humm:

could by toed in alittle bit that could cause the outside of your tires but i don't think you can adjust your camber very easy :humm:

no i dont think you can adjust your camber, just toe in and out is about it

dieselmadscientist 03-12-2009 12:47 PM

there are shops that can bend axles to adjust camber on solid beams

shit, well i guess i will get the toe plates out and see what stanely says hope the toes out and i can make an easy fix out of it....

It is probably more of a toe issue. The only way camber can change on these trucks is to bend the axle(been there done that) but that usually results in a negative camber gain not positive.

i will have to figure something out, its pretty bad, gonna check the toe when it warms up, and i will see what i am dealing with. i still think you can change camber with degreed ball joints? nothing is easy.
