looked at this truck the other day ....i know nothing about the twelve valves ......what to look for besides the 53 block ....body is a little beat but it only has 113k miles on it
would like to read up on this bad boy ,could someone point me in the right direction

I would say the first thing to is see if the kdp (killer dowel pin) issue has been dealt with.And what kind of maintnance if any has been done on this truck.And is the truck an auto or manual tranny.

Well let me tell you from experience with the qutos, i have a 96 auto, and if you plan to do any towing or any extra horsepower gains then i RECOMMEND that you build that tranny up because their garbage!

Oh, and you definitely dont have to worry about the 53 block in a 95 - they started around 98 and ended in 01/02. Some 98 12Vs had them but they dont seem to crack like the 24V version. Dont know why.
