TOO LOUD!!!

I just installed a 4 inch down pipe that expands into 5in the runs to the stacks on my 94. This is the third truck i have straight piped and it is the loudest one i have ever heard! i wouldn't mind so much if it was only on the outside of the cab, but when your running down the highway you cant hear yourself think. does anyone know of a good muffler that will take away the interior resonence but still give good sound on the out side?

any aftermarket muffler should do the trick. some thing like hushpower

You try hauling down the highway with your ear drums pounding from stacks for a number of hours... Its TOO LOUD!!!

BTW... Try a Silverline Muffler from MBRP.

I like my dimond eye it sounds pefect after going from strait piped stacks to this.

listen to 94 the bullhauler style gets the sound away from your truck, if you like how loud it is outside install some dynomat or other noise deadening insulation. my 96 is just right but the stacks are about 10 inches above the cab
