Super singles on a dually
was looking into getting super singles for my dually but I am having a hard time getting what I need.
I called a Alcoa to find two wheels that will fit on a 3500 axle and they said that I would need to do a semi conversion. Has anyone here done this and where did you find the tires and wheels. I need a heavy duty tire because I always have a trailer on The truck is a 94 CTD 3500 4x4 thanks |
Well, the conversions you can get from a number of companies. I have no idea where you can buy the Super Singles though...
|
I found the conversion but I am wanting a rim that bolts right on to the truck.

u wanting to go with 19.5, 22.5, or 24.5 tires 19.5 i believe have a direct bolt on the others will need the 8 to 10 hole adapter
|
19.5 will work but I can't find any
|
You'll need something like this Dually Adapters
I think it will look great with those tires. |
I found 16x6 alcoa wheels but I cant find super singles. in a 16 inch and don't know if they make them
|
Rickson truck wheels.. Not super single but its direct bolt on with a heavy duty tire...
Rickson Truck Wheels and Accessories |
The super singles are only available in 22.5 or 24.5 I think... And you CANNOT bolt ANY of those wheels directly onto an 8 lug axle. You have to have the conversion plates.
