Hey guys..i have a 98 2500 with a 12 valve....just the other day i started to hear a clicking coming from the right front wheel.....i crawled underneath her, and found my u joint(universal) that sits in the knuckle of my front axle shaft was loose and wobbly aka shot....just wondering if there is any thing i should know before i jump in...any tips/ advice would be much apreciated...thanks guys...Len

 

nothing you can do the bearings are gone happend to me last may, all you have to do is pull the hub took me a total of 4 hours to do each one, having a shop press is definatly a bonis with these joints

 

thanks for the advice.....yea the garage im gonna bring her into to work on has a press...thatyl make my job a little easier...that and along with a heated shop at that
