Headliner Woes

Any ideas on saving the headliner from falling near the windshield?

I've used 3M Spray Adhesive, lasted about a week. I used velcro, didn't last a night. Now I keep my sunvisors down, even at night, so I don't have to stare at the ugly ass headliner. I don't know why Dodge didn't use some sort of trim across the top inside of the windshield to retain the headliner.:bat:

Get a new headliner at a junk yard or something , we used 3m spray adhesive and it worked ok but had wrinkles

kinda sounds like your saying the whole headliner is falling down and not just the fabric right.

the fabric is starting to fall down on mine on the drivers side in front of the visor. :argh:

Just the fabric, peeling from the foam liner.

i think 3m glue is prety good stuff. what i did was spray glue between fabric and headliner board. then with a blanket firmly folded to size of sagging fabric area i then wedged a stick cut to length and wedged stick to a board that pushed blanket to fabric and let it sit overnight. that worked for me for the 3yrs i owned last truck i had. its not complicated. i think the best thing to remember is after glueing is to apply light pressure to fabric to hold it in place while adhesive has time to set and dry.

Some of the problem is that the foam is rotting. The 3M spray just sticks to the rotting foam and then peals again. It is not a very well made part.
