afc plastic hose boost line?

I searched this and I found everything but this.

The line I am talking about is the line from the head to the afc.

What my question is if I take the line off the afc housing and block it will that be like gutting the afc since it will not be moving anything just like a gutted afc housing?

The reason I am asking is I want to see what a gutted afc housing is like before I do it so if I don't like it then it would be easier to do then gutting it and putting it back together.

thanks

Dont gut it - tune it properly - you will be much happier.

Since I have no fuel plate and my starwheel is as loose as possible ( most fuel). I don't see how gutting this would be that much different. It goes off the line but I need more. This is why I wanted to see what it is like with it gutted. I guess we will see what the difference is since it is not that hard to do.

Do you think I will gain by gutting this when I have as much fuel as I can now?

Well I gutted the afc. Well guys for the ones that already know this. It is better to leave it in.

1. more smoke at bottom end.
2. less power off the line.
3. mpg will go down..lol
4. even at mid throttle I did notice a little more smoke.

So all in all lesson learned it is better to keep it in if you want more off the line.

I do understand about the 6psi thing. Once it hit there it was off. So now I guess I will have to tune the afc a bit so I can get more of the line.

I am probably going to take a vid of me taking off so anyone that is interested in the future can see it. :U:
