Throw it in, its just a thermostat. Lord knows guys have put a million miles on the things before. Even if its the old style, it beats the hell out of a Carquest or Napa unit.

i dont think you have the old style. its just that they updated the material or the way they made it. the new ones look the same as old ones.

the superstat by stant is alright to use that what i have in mine it opens at about 190 instead of about 225.

My buddies 97 just doesnt go past 160* and never gets any heat. Could be stuck open? :humm:
