i havent had this problem with my dodge i had the problem on another truck i used to own,i went to a upholstery shop got headliner material and really sticky upholstery spray in a can 20 bucks thou,they told me when you get the headliner out the cardboard,take the material off the headliner take a nylon brush and scrub the cardboard to remove the old glue on the cardboard spray new glue on the cardboard and new material start in a corner and work youre way around.this is what i did cost like 50 bucks stayed in place for a year till i sold the truck and got my dodge .hope this helps goodluck
