What is the recall?

Mine does this same thing. Will stay at 140 or less all day while idling. Few miles down the road 160 or so. At least once I drive for 5 miles or so, I get heat inside.

mines superslow too and not hot heat

are you sure you didn't install the t-stat backwards? it's happened more than once, and can happen very easily.

Mine would not warn up for about 20 min driving in Hawaii, out of a 45 min commute. I was worried. It would also stall with the A/C on.. Bumped up the idle , does not stall and warms up in about 10 mins now. i guess with all your mods it idles right.. Could have been a faulty thermostat.. Is there not two of em though...? good luck
