P7100 timing input
I have a 4bt with a P7100 in an '02 Dakota that I need to bump the timing on. I posted it here hoping it would get more attention than the P7100 forum that hasn't had a post in 9 years. Here is my problem-I can't keep the pump from snapping back when I break the gear loose. I bought the power driven diesel magnetic degree wheel so I could use the pump pin, only to find out some idiot has managed to bend the metal tab back inside the pump so I can't use that method. Does anyone have any other suggestions or tricks as how to keep the pump from moving?
