Southbend dual disk clutch question
So I've swapped my 97 from auto to a stick, up graded shafts hole 9 yards. But it also has dual disk clutch as well. I've always had a hard time shifting to reverse, but if you shift into like 2nd first then go straight to reverse it's smooth how I think it should be. And I have told the guys at the shop this. Long story short they say it is normal. Something about the shafts are still spinning blah blah blah. Don't really know how all that crap works. But any input would be appreciated!!!! I have had nothing but hell from these guys....

Did you replace the clutch master and slave with a new unit like stock or an upgraded master and slave?

You know to be honest I am not sure....this was an auto that I had swapped to a 5 speed. I had the shop do all the work...

Call and ask. When I put a Valair DD in my truck I had a hard time shifting into 1,2 and Reverse. This was also on a brand new tranny. I put an ungraded master and slave and it solved my problem
