OIL LEAK BEHIND TIMING COVER
OK so I just changed my oil and it was very very low did not now i had a bad oil leak entire under side of engine coated with oil, cleaned off front of engine ran truck no leak at idle get rpm around 2000 for about 2-4 minutes jump out and look oil is leaking from timing cover housing left side front of engine , how do you fix this leak ? how do you remove timing housing from block, is this a major repair what is aprox cost?

Have you tabbed your KDP?
|
Are you sure it isn't the crank seal? That's very common.
|
You have to pull the cam to remove the timing housing. It gets pretty involved. A job best left to a competent mechanic. You don't want to accidentally drop a lifter to the oil pan.

Nice, man. The PDD guys are good people. I loved dealing with them.
