!!! No tach,AC,GEN issue solved!!!

Ok I'm gonna start off by saying I had this problem accurate after I bought the truck from up north In michigan. After some time of the truck sitting in my drive way I started working on it. I started by replacing the front cover and the harmonic balancer. The damper turned out to be for a 24v cummins which had no notches in the damper. You need the damper with the notches in it and you ilneed to have two notches in it on exact oposite sides of each other. The sensor I heard needs to be air gaped about .049-.050. after gaping the sensor I still couldn't get it to read anything. My tach is down and the AC and gen aren't working well I got a external voltage regulator and the gen started charging. So I still want the computer to turn on. I found out you can take a wire from one of the relays on the driver's side panel and mine was the red and white striped wire from the first relay which is the top one and connect it to a key power only source and my tach started working and no more lights u was very happy about that . So let me know what you think

My truck is a 1997 2wd dodge 12v cummins 5speed 3500. Air dog 2 45. 5x012 injectors stock turbo.
