Wanting to confirm that dodge used the exact same transmission between the v10 gas and cummins 12 valve.
Also how many electrical hooks up are there on the transmission? 2 (neutral and converter lock up?). Safety switch would be 2 pins and converter lock up would be 3 (power, ground, signal?)
When I go to look at it, I want to make sure that I'm getting a 47RH and not a RE.

The governors are different (brass for diesel and steel for gas) and the torque converter.
My main concern is the valve body and line pressure front pump.

Yes, the gas converter is different but can be swapped for a lower stall and the governor can be changed too. I would not turn down the V10 47RH as its all doable in a diesel. Easy tricks and mods to make it work in a diesel. Any trans guy can make it happen, if you brought it here we could make it work easily. These are getting hard to find, I buy all I can gas or diesel.
