Hx-35 max and clutch

I could probably find all different answers to this question but what is the acceptable max psi for the hx-35 to run and still be able to last? Also is anyone running the Southbend 13125-ok-hd? How do you like it and how has it performed?

I think 35 ish is around the psi they can make power up to. Much more then that and your pushing hot air. And not specifically that one but if it's a single disk it should drive well and hold decent. I had a 3250 dual disk and I liked it.

35 - 40, nothing past 40 though, after that its more likely to hurt you then help you,

Thanks. It is a single disk. South bend says on their site that it is their best towing clutch. Engages smoothly and holds great,it's one of the disks in the dual disk clutch . People can say anything though, that's why I asked for real world experience.

I have been towing about 14000 lbs with a Valair Kevlar 13" inch for about 6 years maybe at least 80,000 on it now its been working good it has a slight squeak to it when you let out on the clutch, may investigate soon.I am making well under 450hp though. It would be best to go big and not need it!! than to need it and not have it be enough clutch.
