Need dyno tips
Thinking about making the long drive down to Ken imler diesel performance shop in sacramento ca to dyno my pickup. Wondering if anyone knows what type of dyno they have and with my automatic if I should click my over drive off or not. Read many forum's on rather to run in 3rd gear or od.

Most dyno places do the dynoing for you. They should know what works best. Usually the higher the gear the more accurate power you will make. Make sure it's a loaded dyno. Or your torque numbers will be off forsure. Go dyno and let us know what Ya, make.

Definitely will.. mainly concerned with someone else running the vehicle.
|
if your worried about someone else denoting it then the truck probably shouldn't be on a dyno. if its gonna break under full power or if your gonna milk it theres no point.
|
Simply don't like a stranger behind the wheel of my truck no matter the case. I build the truck up from the ground up I will teach myself how and we're she runs the best to dyno.. I do my owne work.. no one touches my vehicles.

Most places here set it up and have you run it so if it blows up its your issue.
|
Here the place we dyno does It for you. Because dynoing actually takes some skill. Depending on the dyno. I'm sure they will let you. I work on all my own stuff but I have no problem letting someone drive my truck on a dyno. Especially if they will get more accurate numbers.

Most places around here will not let you drive your truck or run your truck on the dyno. Just for insurance purposes
|
Definitely will not blow up. Well oh well no one seems to have a dyno I can find.
