i have a 95 dodge 2500 ctd and a buddy of mine hit a school bus in his 96 dodge ram 1500 ext cab short box i have single cab long box all is off and home been busy weekend set his cab on my frame and seems the mounts dont line up at all i cut the rear cab mounts off his frame figuring that is all i needed but seems i need more then i thought i read a few things bout box not bolting up at all idc ill go flat bed easier with a gooseneck trailer anyway but what can i do to get at least the 4 cab mounts to line up any help would be amazing as the truck sitting tarped and not driven:( have pics of the build on my phone if anyone wants to see

The extended-cab frame probably has a longer 'low' section through the middle for the longer cab. I've seen guys cut open the cab floor and rebuild it to fit the frame. This one is an older crewcab, but you get the idea:

Otherwise, look at building new, taller cab/body mounts to attach the cab without cutting it. Kind of like a custom body lift of sorts.
