Need injector help

My dad gave me his old cummins as a gift and I am looking to get some new injectors that will give power and possibly roll coal but don't know which ones to buy.

A stock truck will "roll coal" and that does not equal power. Learn to tune it before you start adding injectors and performance parts. And stock injectors are about all the atock turbo can handle.

all your doing when adding bigger injectors is increasing cylinder temps, which could be bad if the motor is not properly tuned before getting the injectors. Plus you will need an egt gauge to keep an eye on the exhaust temps for the motor.

Personally i would look at doing pump work first, fuel plate star wheel, and gov springs..for about $70 and a little shop time you can get your truck to "roll coal" pretty easily. I would also get a boost elbow but be careful because you should run around 1300egt and 40psi of boost when its 30° out. If you do any more work to it then that pillar gauges is a must. With just injectors and no pump work you will have a smokey pig.
