Transmission Help

Hello all, I recently blew the input shaft out of my transmission (what a surprise). I came across a transmission out of a 99 24 valve that has a 5 plate Precision Industries converter, BD valve body, kevlar clutches and intermediate band, as well as an Allison EPC conversion. Truck has about 300,000 miles on it but the transmission had all that work done by a professional shop 4000 miles ago. Seller is asking 1500 bucks and guarantees it works. I verified all the work done by the man who built it. First question is whether or not I'll have to change anything due to it being a 99 and mine a 96. Second question is rough idea how much power I could expect that to hold with a billet input if anybody would have a guess. I don't claim to be a transmission guy, so any other insight anybody has to offer would be appreciated lol
