Yeah. Pull the cam out and check the lobe with a dial indicator and v block. Or with a caliper. If its within profile spec you're good.

So have you touched you return OFV or have you thought about replacing the Lift pump ?
Dont touch the Ip until you get through the basics first .... :argh:.. pullin the Ip apart on a whim lilke that is a waste of time .... the cams dont just suddenly go out .. :nope: |
i pulled the lift pump apart the other day and the screen was totally clogged to shit. I just bought some airdog 2's cause i rather not put the stock lift pump and filter setup back in and i had some extra cash.

Manny guys run a dual feed system .. Run a stock Lift pump and an electric fuel pump, Put a Y in the feed side of the IP feed line and have a dual feed system .. ( typically they place a Check valve in the out going side of each pump so if the pump fails the other pump wont just push fuel backwards through the bad pump ) .. Quite Effective, and always have a back up .. can use the electric to prime system and such also .. :tu: |
I think I'm gonna do that. Not sure why it's taken four years to decide to, but. It is what it is.

I will be doing it as soon as my HG is done this spring .. gotta save some cash $$$$ then I can play this spring :rocking:
