What happened?
Yesterday i was driving home and i noticed my turbo was going out (had one do it before) so i drove it maybe 15 miles no clinging just a little whining noise. Well the next day i decided id try to get it home and baby it everything was fine til i got on the highway and it starting clicking and knocking so i pulled it over immediately. Took the turbo off and it had no oil in it my dipstick had barely any on it. So i replaced the turbo right there and fired it up sounded fine but had a little knock when i reved it up. I checked my gauges and noticed i did not have any oil pressure. The lack of oil is what burned my turbo up, but do you guys think my motors okay? I know im going to have to replace the oil pump but other than that? Motor idles fine. Think ive done too much damage? Please respond im worried about it.

sounds ok but anytime a motor starves for oil there is a chance of it being hurt
it is going to be a gamble |

If she's knocking , its not good news .. Most likley you will be replacing rod and mains, and an oil pump as thats what feeds it all ..
