Returning to Idle Hiccup

Hopefully someone can shed some light. Motor starts and idles fine, revs with no hesitation but when throttle is released and RPM's drop it has a sort of a hiccup for a split second and then returns to idle fine. Any ideas?

Sounds normal, I believe that's the sound of the Governor Returning to idle position.... As long as it runs fine I wouldn't let it bother ya too much

Mine will do this when it is cold, but it is not something I see when it is warmer. I know that is not much help but it could be something to keep an eye so don't just fluff it off. Monitor it under several conditions and see if it is consistent.

Could have something worn inside the Governor housing causing it to do that, but usually its just a leveling out when its cold.... Or not up to temp yet

I should have probably said this in the original post. This motor has just been installed in the truck following a complete rebuild. It is so new that it has 0 miles on it. I might also add that I have never run 5k GSK's before either so I am not familiar with their characteristics. I have a video of it with sound but I am not sure how to post it.

Will do some research and try to post.
