Turbo problem

Hi I just recently bought a 1994 12valve cummins and when I bought it the turbo was seized up on it. I bought a used and put it on it. After it running for a few minutes It blew the bushings out of it and was left with lots of play. I bought a rebuild kit and rebuilt it and put it back on and it did the same thing again so I got another turbo and put it on it and it worked for just a little bit and blew the bushings out again. Any ideas why it's eating up the turbos??

Check the oil drain for the turbo to make sure it isn't plugged.

ah... is your turbo getting oil? that line is like $40 if the drain is plugged you would get oil past the sealing rings if you have no oil (which is your problem) you toast turbos almost immediatly.

I've pulled the line off the top of the turbo which is connected to the engine and started it and it runs oil through it so I know that it's at least getting oil to the turbo

replace that line. the only magic thing that keeps turbos alive is nice clean oil. if you keep killing turbos instantly you are not oiling
