Parking brake warning light won't go off
Thanks for all the help so far everybody, latest issue is regarding this light...I pulled the parking brake assy out to lubricate & check over, the switch doesn't seem to make a difference when grounded or not, light stays on. Grounding the switch wire directly has same result...any ideas?
Thanks |
Not very helpful but... I unplugged mine. Of course, that means it's never on either, but I never have to think about it not turning off anymore.

LOL.. that works ... :c:

I prefer things to work as intended, but sometimes my patience just isn't up to it.

Stupid stupid question but is your master cylinder full?
|
could be a faulty float assembly ... means a new Master Cylinder ...
|
Master is full, didn't realize it was in the park brake system...will check it out,
Thanks |
Might also look to see if the micro switch. For the park brake assembly is un plugged or messed up somehow ... :humm:
|
Took the park brake assy out....switch I think is just a ground for the light, tested fine, unless the feed wire is grounded between the switch and the lamp....still checking.
