Beefing up the tranny!

Alright,so i have a stock tranny and i have 4GSK #60 valve spring,5x12 injectors on the shelf and getting my truck timed to 16.5*!Looking at some TC and VB?Saw that revmax had ok reveiws but i dont know what you guys think about them? They have a Billet single disc for $500 and claims to hold 375-400hp?Also they have VB for $500-$600 and i was looking at the HD towing Constant High pressure? Is this VB more for race/sled pulling or should i get the HD towing non-constant high pressure?Any input would be nice!:tu:
How much HP should i be making with everthing thats in my sig and what i havent put on yet?

are you taking the trans apart or just looking for bolt ons?

I would just buy a built tranny but money is a little tight for the next couple months! But i think im going to do there 375-450 hp rebuild kit for Revmax?Idk how many horses i will be pushing when i get her all done but im hoping to be somewhere around 350-375?Will i be fine running stock flexplate and input shaft?:humm:

yep you will be fine. the stock guts will be fine if they arnt burnt now. with out dismantiling the trans, just the pan and a removal. ide do this

good single disk converter. $6-800
new accumulator and low reverse servo $50
4.2 apply lever $30
a shift kit. I ran a trans-go for a long time $100
billet strut and anchor $40

all these parts can be replaced without taking the pump off.

if the trans hasnt slipped and is in good shape and the money isnt there ide go this rought. if you burn it up in a year all the parts you installed are transferable to the next build. assuming you dont run debris through the converter.

here is a place to give you an idea.

Go to extreme diesel.com ... I just got a suncoat vb for 429.00 +200 core .... And if you plan to tow and haul heavy stuff ... Get a tripple billet unit ... The single I just bought ... I can drive through the lock up and I'm running 160# line pressure and the trans isn't slipping ... Just my TC .... Just an opinion Of course ...:c:

great Thx man!But i just would rather dump 1800-2000 into the tranny now and not have to worry about it for awhile? But the kit im talking has all the stuff you suggested and a VB and mor clutch plates and all those goodies:tu:
